Ignazio Maria Viola is Professor of Fluid Mechanics and Bioinspired Engineering on the Faculty of Engineering, College of Edinburgh, and Fellow of the Royal Establishment of Naval Architects. He’s the recipient of the ERC Consolidator Grant Dandidrone to discover the unsteady aerodynamics of dandelion-inspired drones.
